Although the belts are advertised as "stretchy", they practically do not stretch. In addition, the buckle, which takes time to handle, is very heavy. I gave them 3 stars overall because the straps look good, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Probably the coolest belt I've ever owned. Design is a great idea! The ratchet mechanism is well constructed and very durable. You can adjust the length of the strap by cutting off one end, leaving just the right length for your size and the cut end is hidden. I will be ordering a few more soon!

These are fantastic straps and I've avoided leather straps entirely. They are very easy to adjust and once engaged they never come loose. They look great with North Face hiking pants, jeans and Under Armor golf shorts. I haven't worn them with golf pants or trousers but they should look good. I have a 32 waist and just cut off a few inches with scissors and then secured the end with a lighter.

I have gradually replaced my straps with click adjustable straps and this is another good option. I've read about bad looks or some other flaws but didn't come across the three I bought (different colors all work great). I really like this belt. I mainly wear it for golf. And it works fine. Easy to set up. And you can even shorten it if you need it. Excellent belt. The carbon buckle is really beautiful and fashionable. To fasten a belt, push a small spring-loaded button on the buckle and pull the strap through the buckle.
