Not fully functional as the title suggests

Arrived on time. looks great. the power cord is not very long. heats well, doesn't keep the coffee hot but warm to drink. turns on when the cup is heated, turns off when the cup is removed. It does not switch off automatically after a certain time when the cup is on the warmer. I've been using a Mr Coffee Warmer since the 1980's and it still works, keeps the coffee much warmer and shuts itself off after an hour or so. Frustrating and annoying heater

I've been using coffee/tea warmers for years and decided to try this one when my last one broke. I'm not happy I spent money on this. Here are the pesky features I didn't like. First off, it doesn't work on napkins or tablecloths. You should just have a tough attitude. Second, even though it has 3 heat settings, the warmer turns off every time you lift your cup to take a sip and only turns on to the lowest temperature when you switch the cup to the warmer. Bought this as a gift for my adult daughter and (as always) tried it before giving it as a gift. It took about two hours to fully melt the first candle, less than the second. Observe the difference in glass thickness at the bottom of the candle. It makes sense that thicker glass will take longer to heat up. It seems that happened. To use this heating pad effectively, you need a special type of mug or a modification of a regular mug.

The machine never kept my coffee hot/warm enough for my liking. The problem was that a special type of cup was needed. This special type of cup must have a sufficiently large contact area between the cup and the heating surface. I couldn't find a flat bottomed coffee mug that I usually buy in any of my stores. Final Verdict: Good for Beverage Warmer

After testing my cup warmer and swapping cups for a week, I decided to keep this cup warmer and not return it. I like the way it looks. Looks better than other industrial style heaters in my home. At first I was disappointed with the temperature control. The temperature of the coffee from my Keurig is 135°. After adding cream it is 132°.
