Strong start: starter

Fixed a bad starter in my 2010 Volkswagen Routan 3.8L. It creaked on cold starts and this replacement ensures a safe start.

Works on 08 TOWN & COUNTRY

Works great on 08 Town and Country. It's only been a week and no problems so far. This starter was half the price of an AutoZone remanufactured one. Thank you DB ELECTRICAL and Revain!

Good product best among spare parts

It fits perfectly and is easy to install. It took me longer to get the tools to make changes than actually installing them. The tractor started the first time the key was turned. Good price.

Works great so far. Excellent price.

Less than half the price of even refurbished offerings which is a huge bonus. Installed on my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country (3.8L) with no problems. Everything fits like the OEM. Starts well and quickly, starts immediately even in the cold (I changed the starter primarily because of cold starting problems).

Not an exact match.

Not an exact match. Managed to get it working. The starter solenoid valve terminal is not in the same location as the original starter. Original starter position closest to the starter at the 10 o'clock position. The new starter motor is in the 2 o'clock position. Main positive cable location old 1 hour new starter 5 hours. It was necessary to pull the cable, its length was almost not enough. Difficult to replace. I installed it on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Excellent value for…

Does NOT fit 2007 Chrysler Pacifica

The description clearly says it fits my year Chrysler. I took my time on Sunday to replace my starter. In fact, everything went pretty smoothly, right down to removing parts to access the old starter. I pulled the old one out and when I went to put the new one in, it wouldn't go past the engine to get in. It is an inch longer than stock, which makes it unable to clean the engine. Just installed. It went well. Starts great. So far no problems.

Installed on a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8L engine. Managed to remove the top bolt using a deep socket, a 2" extension and a 3/8" universal joint. The universal allowed the extension to move up and away from some obstacles. You can remove the starter without removing the fans. The bottom screw is fairly easy to remove with a 15mm flat head. 13mm sockets for 12V cable and ground. The detail looks good. Looks identical to the original Mopar part.
