Fits my Ryobi 40v battery slot just fine in my mower and blower. Happy so far but its real value will only be clear to me if it lasts more than two years. The Ryobi 5ah battery I had previously started to noticeably degrade within 18 months. Couldn’t finish my front and back yards on a single charge. This 6ah battery holds some promise to do better but only time will tell.

I purchased this battery because it was an inexpensive option for my ryoko electric mower. So glad I did too. It worked just like the battery my mower came with in the mower and the charger. Just to clarify, this is a battery only purchase. The charger I had already.

perfect battery for Ryobi.seems to work as well as the original one.the only thing is that's the leds light red instead of green when fully charged

At approximately half the cost of a new OEM battery this one seems to power the equipment for about the same amount of time, charges in the same amount of time, and has no real differences in any other way. Time will tell if it is as durable and this rating is only based on how well it is performing after probably about six or seven charge cycles. So far it is a great option to the more expensive OEM battery.

Works much better than the factory Ryobi battery that comes with the lawnmower. Combine the two fully charged and you can get a pretty decent sized yard mowed without stopping to charge. Probably have some juice left for the weed eater if you have one. Definitely worth having if you own a Ryobi device that takes these types of batteries.

Works great with my 20 inch self propelled Ryobi mower. I have two six amp hour batteries and can do the entire yard, probably 1/2 acre mowed, using both batteries. If I let the grass get too high then I may have to recharge one to finish the job, but under usual circumstances I finish without recharging.This was a good purchase.

I am always amused by 5 star reviews that say things like "l haven’t used it yet but …”. I bought this battery one year ago. I am compelled to give it a 5 star rating. I have the Ryobi expand-it system with many of the attachments. I was pleased with the power of this battery when purchased and it seems to work as well today. It allows me to edge over 400 ft of sidewalk, curb, and driveway and over 500 ft of landscape beds. With the string trimmer attachment I "mow” a 2-3 ft wide 150 ft swath…

Worked OK initially and held a decent charge. But, it died abruptly after 13 months. My OEM Ryobi batteries have lasted several years. I was planning to buy a second, but now I won't.
