I've used another smoke candle for years and found it to work pretty well until I tried this candle. This candle blows all other candles out of the water. This not only eliminates "all" cigarette smoke smell, but also leaves a very pleasant mild, non-overpowering "fresh pears" smell. This thing works great! I sometimes smoke tobacco and other things too. and this candle had no problem covering up the smell! I light them for about 20 minutes total: before, during and 5 minutes after smoking, and when I blow them out I'm pretty sure the smell of smoke is gone.
