Functionality has been scaled back a bit, but it's still pretty versatile

What doesn't work: SSD switch. I don't know how, but I can't turn on/off the SSD with the button. Not a big problem, just something I've encountered myself. Drive speed: SD card reader (microSD could not be checked as I don't have a card) is limited to 100 Mbit/s. I have a 160Mbps card so there is a small bottleneck in the card reader. M.2 (I used a 512GB WD Blue 3D) is limited to a maximum read/write speed of around 350Mbps, which isn't the full 5Gbps you would see with regular SATA. USB…

Works as advertised but gets a little warm

USB-C hub and cloth carry case only. You will not receive any cables, adapters or anything like that. Usage is as easy as possible. It can work both powered and unpowered, but if you have a compatible USB-C adapter, you can also provide pass-through power to powered systems. With the necessary power, the Acer Swift 3 delivers the same performance as the power adapter supplied as standard. I tested it with HDMI output and USB functionality. Ok I will tell you about my experience before you buy. The first one I bought appeared to be used but I wasn't sure. I installed it and it seems to be working fine. I had trouble installing the SSD as it has a small screw so I used a sharp knife to unscrew and screw it back in. However, one thing didn't work. The USB-C port was not working upon arrival. Lots of features in an affordable USB-C hub (no NVMe-based M.2 support)

USB-C hubs and docking stations can be confusing, if you're not aware of the differences they can all, by the way, are $20 for USB-A hubs and up to several hundred for Thunderbolt 3/4 docking stations.
