I threw away my previous rechargeable flashlight from another brand and replaced it with this one. Although smaller, it's actually a lot brighter than mine, four times the size, and a lot easier to carry because it's not bulky and fits in your pocket. I love it very much and highly recommend it. I keep it in my main bathroom near my bed for quick access at night in an emergency. You can leave it plugged into an outlet so it's always fully charged when you need it. Great invention!

Wow, what was I thinking? 40 lumens is nothing! If I hadn't already torn up the packaging I would have sent it back. This 40 lumen version is the new version. The old version only has 25 lumens. Why put a red light on these devices when they don't light up? I called the company and they told me it should catch fire. I've tried three different ones and they don't work.
