Tons of wrong tools

Tool was inaccurate I have a. Repair shop on N18 engine wrong inlet camshaft block Not only in my workshop but also in another had the same problem. The tool is defective

Worked great on my N18 - would recommend.

Worked great on my 2012 N18. I had to grind the crankshaft bolt. It was slightly larger in diameter. Everything else was good.

Wrong listing - not suitable for 2011 Mini Cooper N16!

Product quality and workmanship were sufficient. The cam locks fit the lugs of both cams. However, the bolt holes did not match the 2011 Mini Cooper R55 N16 engine. The mounting points are offset by more than an inch on both the exhaust and intake sides of the head. Description is inaccurate. Not suitable for N16 engine. Why buy a tool that you have to adjust to fit. If you buy, prepare for a repeat. Otherwise buy another one for N16 engine. Don't waste your time $ and don't risk your engine

I don't know if I recommend

This tool did the job I bought it for. Mini Cooper drives well. However, next time I'll probably spend the extra money on a tool that can be trusted a little more. The first part of the jig, which holds the exhaust camshaft in place, fits snugly on either side of the cylinder block. However, when I installed the second part securing the intake camshaft, the threaded bolts at the junction of the two parts did not fit properly. The exhaust side had to be braced to allow the bolt to go in, leaving
