Not the best cutting wheel

This is a cutting wheel, not a wheel. Product description is misleading. Its thickness is only 1mm and it cannot be built into a 3 inch mini grinder. Wear protective gear when using it to sharpen electrodes, the discs may explode if you apply side loads to them.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • old

Good cheap way to sharpen tungsten electrodes

I fitted this to my 3 inch stand grinder and it is great for sharpening tungsten for TIG welding. It's pretty durable even without a backing, but don't overdo it. Press on it when sharpening the electrodes. It can bend and twist a bit. Also great for cutting tungsten. Always wear safety goggles.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Guard

Excellent for sharpening tungsten electrodes

Excellent for sharpening tungsten electrodes but not good for cutting metal like mild steel but will do if you have more patience. And like a metal grinder, it doesn't leave a smooth finish, but it grinds well. The great thing about it is that it stays like new no matter how many times you use it. But be careful not to bend it, it will bend and stay bent.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some problems

Ideal for price-conscious hobby welders Tungsten grinding

For sharpening tungsten in TIG welding. I modified the arbor hole to fit my 3" grinder. Seems to do the job just fine, a $30 Harbor 3" bench grinder and $15 for this diamond blade. Basically $50 for this setup I can't complain, I'm just an amateur welder, it's not my job so I couldn't imagine spending $300-500 on a tungsten sharpener.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Safety

The blade works straight and correctly.

I love this bike and have put it to good use since installing the adapter shaft. When I received it I wasn't sure I could get it to work at first. Didn't pay attention to that when buying. I thought a variable cartridge would do, but I was wrong. In any case, I really like the blade, it runs smoothly and is more reliable than the lighter ones that many manufacturers offer. Thanks and sorry for the late feedback.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No power

Not for "metal ", "soft metal " or "plastic ".

I bought an Enkay diamond disc to cut nails sticking out from under the deck. Thin gauge and galvanized steel nails. It took about 1 minute for the wheel to cut through the nails with an electric drill running at maximum speed (about 1500 rpm). The hand drill was difficult to hold while cutting. The description must state that the wheel is only suitable for "soft metals" in addition to other specified materials. The wheel comes with a shaft that fits a drill chuck, so presumably it was meant to

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine
