$10 or $100, you decide!

When a Toyota dealer told me that my car's air filter would cost around $100, I replied that I would wait until my next oil change. In the meantime I did a little research and found this great filter and a YouTube video on how to replace it and voila! Presto, change-o, I saved myself $90 and installed a great air filter.

Great quality at a great price

Received on time and exactly as advertised. After reading several reviews about this and other filters, I decided on this one. and I'm impressed with the price and apparent quality. The construction feels much more solid and the price is lower than the filters I've bought from auto parts stores (OEM and others) for over 40 years. At first glance I would consider buying it again. Let's see how he holds up. Keep for updates.

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Will not fit 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid V6

I entered my vehicle details into Revain Garage (2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid V6) and the product says 'It fits your 2006 Toyo' but it is approx 2 inches wider. I returned it. The reason I give it 5 stars is so as not to detract from the overall star rating of the product. May fit other cars. Also, I recently ordered a couple of other filters from the same manufacturer and they fit perfectly and seem to work well.

Fit is tighter than OEM

I was afraid I bought the wrong product as the fit was definitely tighter than the OEM I got from the retailer. The fit is about 0.5cm longer than it should, so I had to force it in there. I kept the original and will monitor the filter to make sure it is working properly. It took more effort to reattach the clamps than was necessary. I have another 2016 Camry in the family of the same model, so it's easy for me to compare an OEM product to this one.

Fits 2002 Highlander

Fits 2004 Highlander. It doesn't have the tough rubber lip of the original, but that doesn't matter or affect how it works. I am happy with this purchase. Installation takes 2 minutes and is very easy. The 2002 Highlander's drawer does not open fully, but is large enough to pull out the old filter and replace with a new one. On the edge of the filter there is an indication of which side it is in front of the car. Install it with the arrow pointing towards you and towards the front of the…

Nice but not OEM. Missing rubber seals.

It doesn't have rubber outer edges like some filters. However, it fits perfectly in my 2007 Highlander Limited. For an $8 filter, that's great. Be careful when changing oil at oil points. As usual, Grease Monkey changed my oil and pulled out the filters to show me "how dirty they are". Then they didn't install the engine filter cover properly and it has been sucking air through the filter for quite some time now. I've learned my lesson. I will tell them not to touch ANY of my filters and…

If you need low price and low quality air filter.

I think when you build your own car including filter changes why be cheap. For a few bucks more there is a much better quality Purolater air filter than this one. Instead of a rubber lip, this filter has a pressed lip that seals much better. The fins of the Purolater are supported by plastic as this air cleaner has no fin support. Even the quality of a real paper filter seems better than this one. I haven't done any testing to make air filters better, but I'll make a guess. So you will notice…

2003 Toyota Camry - Fits!

Filter replaced. Very easy. There are two loops to the left of the airbox. There is a screw on the right side that can be used with a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench. Now you can use an outlet, but I didn't have one. So I used 10mm to loosen the screw. Then remove the two sensors connected to the airbox by pressing in the center and shaking a little to get them out. On the right is a pipe that you can pull relatively gently with your fingers or a wrench. Finally, the large tube leading…
