This has been my canning year and it's going to be the hot sauce year. I used this grinder for dozens of cans of tomato sauce last week. It works great! Excellent quality and three different golf tips. I used the largest holes the first time and a few seeds came through so I would recommend a medium size for the tomato sauce. I bought this grinder to use in several recipes but the first was for applesauce. (Not very good lighting, it looks brown not pink.) Set up and take down was a breeze. The only time I've had trouble disassembling is when I was out too long between batch cleanings and a build up under the blade prevented me from fully lowering the removal handle.
