I bought it on December 12, 2020 and it was dead mid-February. I measure meat for my dog who is on a special raw diet due to allergies. 2 times a day every day and I get a different weight every time I measure an empty pan. Eventually the scale could not be reset. I put the bowl on the scale and get another reading of the same amount of food that was just taken out of the bowl and put into the bowl. waste of money.

This is a replacement for my last few Escali weights. The latter was badly damaged. hence the replacement. I had the first one for about three years and used it to bake bread, measure spices and other ingredients. This is a product you really cannot live without. It works great and looks great. Attractive mostly metallic scales that are as accurate as similar scales and look nice on the table. Unfortunately, the necessary installation is spoiled by stupid packaging. The mounting screws for the bowl mount screw into the mount and do not come in a small bag. It's not that they're too tight to loosen, it's that they are screwed into hidden nuts and you (of course) have to steady the nuts with a wrench to get the screws out.
