Not a convincing design.

first of all I have to admit that this is my first contour knife so maybe my expectations of such a tool are unfair. But speaking from a place of relative ignorance, I wasn't thrilled with this particular tool. It more or less does what it says on the tin, but the sliding of the plastic pins isn't particularly smooth, even when the shutter mechanism is fully open and the tension is low. (By the way, the turnbuckles can be adjusted with an Allen wrench [included], which is so small I'm sure I'll

Pros: Accuracy Adjustable Tightness Quality Gift Cons: None What I Got in the Package: 1 x EVERT Contour Gauge Duplicator Profile Tool This EVERT Contour Gauge Duplicator Profile Tool was invaluable. This not only saves time but also because I'm doing my med-dos because of the stay-at-home rules. Laying tiles and copying odd or irregular shapes is quick and easy. This tool is awesome. Durable and works well; can be contoured up to 2 " and 3/8 " deep

Seems to work well and is as described. However if you don't need the full depth you can buy something very similar at the big orange and blue stores for ten bucks which is a lot cheaper and I see other similar sized contour gauges for less. online (although online shopping can be unreliable if you can't check first). This is a contour sensor. To use it, push all the pins, then push them against a piece of wood and the pins will take the shape of the tree. Then draw it on paper and you canโ€ฆ
