Evidence Room Information Network (ERIN) Review

I like that i can search by case number, vehicle location, name of item, etc. It is very user friendly. There are many options to customize the information you want entered into it. My only concern is that sometimes when i attempt to use it, it does not appear to load correctly. Sometimes my computer freezes up while trying to access it. I like that this program allows you to store all of the information from an incident. It has really helped me organize my events easier than before. The interface sometimes can be challenging at first but after seeing how it works it becomes easy to get used too. This system does not allow us to copy/paste things once they are entered into our database. We have had issues with copying text as well because when we try to paste something in another field, the cursor moves out of place. Sometimes

I like that it has all of our criminal cases in one place. It helps us to be aware of what we have received from all agencies involved with an investigation. We use this system to track things such as exhibits, reports, photos etc., so its helpful when searching through folders of paperwork.
