The product is not anodized as stated, but powder-coated. The real problem is that the powder coating is a textured finish that is also present on sponges, resulting in a rough finish. This defeats the purpose of using an aluminum key which is designed to prevent damage to the finish of AN fittings.

I've been using it occasionally for a few months. This wrench has a very loose tolerance in the adjustable part, making it very sloppy to use. Also, aluminum is very soft and will be damaged by AN fittings and will slip and damage some of my AN fittings. If I had a remake, I would suggest buying whatever size wrench you need.

Works well but you need to make it very tight and flush or the aluminum will round out the key and fitting. Therein lies the catch, because as you can see from the picture, the dial is INCREDIBLY SHARP! What the hell are you doing in this place you're gonna twirl around with a razor sharp finger? If you buy this check your wheel and sand it down so you don't hurt yourself.

After being lazy and wrapping tape around the aluminum AN fittings I decided it was time to buy AN wrenches. When I saw this wrench for about the price of a standard AN box wrench I thought "why not." This wrench is excellent and has contact on four opposite sides, not just two like a traditional box wrench. I've been collecting hardware all weekend and there hasn't been a single scratch or slip. Buy it, you won't regret it. Even buy two if you need to collect those pesky hose ends.

I wasn't sure if I should buy this key after reading some reviews. I bought it anyway and the key worked great. A review mentioned that the adjustment knob screw had fallen out and suggested it be checked and possibly repaired. I tested it first and it was tight, no problem. I used this tool to make all of my fuel and transmission lines (AN-6) and it worked great for me. It never marked my fittings or slipped off the fitting. I'll buy another one if this one gets lost. The best feature of this -AN wrench is the hex jaws, which snap onto the -AN fittings much better than straight jaws (similar to how you use wrenches with flare nuts on brake line fittings instead of standard carob wrenches).
