Product just works

There is a learning curve but overall I'm glad I spent the money. I bought additional sea water pool tests from the app and they work fine too. Things I would like to improve is the improved ability to export data. It would also be great to be able to set goals. I'm constantly refreshing myself about what value range I'm trying to stay in.

Almost works.: Test, measure and verify

Bought at a homebrewing conference. Compared to my laboratory water test results, some points are correct, others are not. I had many questions and went back and forth with the salesman/technician who sold it to me until he stopped responding. I had high hopes for this product and while not a waste of time, it didn't give me any results to test either. Unfortunately, it's gathering dust along with other items in the homebrew world that "almost" work.

Excellent water tester for testing, measuring and checking

I bought an iDip to use with my iPhone6. I never have to worry about writing down my results. Very useful is how the time and date of each test is shown on the map as well as the location where I tested. I recently took the device on a trip to Philadelphia and tested the water in the pool before a swim. Great product if you are learning how to use it

I bought this tester mainly because I use a copper/silver ionizer for disinfection. This system requires precise measurements to keep copper levels within 0.3-0.5 ppm. Local pool shops cannot test copper, and copper test strips are useless. The same applies to branded test kits on the market. I read reviews from others complaining about not being able to get the unit to work so in desperation I sold them cheap on Craigs or Ebay. Disappointing - Total lack of application knowledge

What a disappointment. This photometer sounded really great. Does a lot of tests (you have to buy not only the strips from them, but also the "test" for the application for another $5 each), but the strips have to be bought separately. The application shows the complete absence of an iPhone or smartphone. understanding of the manufacturer. Terrible UI, terrible design and barely usable. His posts are random and written by a programmer with no UI experience. Even if you buy an additional "trial"
