Not durable. The pre-drilled holes are not large. I'm sure it will work for some purposes, but not for securing the body of a truck.

The quality looks good. The black finish doesn't seem to rust easily. Looks like powder coating, not paint. I plan on using rivets as one of the reviewers mentioned. I will be using this on an aluminum window so using a screw may not work.

I used them on a rectangular, long and thin case. Trying to carry a box by the handle and this suitcase by the handle was a bit tricky. So I drilled some small holes, used some washers and screwed screws to the body and then added a shoulder strap and it worked great.

I bought these to use on a trailer to mount a golf cart. However the size is very very small and I'm not sure they have enough strength to hold a strap and the size of the bolts/screws you would use to attach them to anything would be very heavy something so valuable to trust. Can be good for smaller, less demanding scenarios or applications.

I spent too much time studying D-rings and finally decided on this one. I was frustrated that it was difficult to tell the size from the pictures, so I've included one of the products alongside a large gardening glove and 10 ounce tube of caulk for reference. I was very pleased with the quality, size, color and thickness of this product and I have found them to be more durable than previously thought.

These fit perfectly into the recess that holds the 2021 JL handlebar cover locking screw. A jeep always needs more storage space. I had some luggage nets from another car which I thought would be good for securing lighter items when going topless. A couple of those D-rings and a few small carabiners did the trick. Very happy with the quality of the D rings. The bonus is they fit like an OEM. Very practical attachment points.
