Got this to track an external outlet (120v) that is dead at my rented house. Please note this is not a Triplet Hound or Tempo. The tone generator is as powerful as the Tempo (I tested it with it), but the probe is not as powerful as the more expensive ones. It's essentially a radio tuned to a wide bandwidth, not an inductive amplifier. I was hoping it would be as good as a more expensive toner/probe with fewer features, but no.
