Description of 🖼️ BDF EXS15 Silver 15 Dark Exterior Window Film: Ultimate Privacy and Sun Control - 36in X 14ft"

EXCELLENT DAYTIME PRIVACY. Provides great intended privacy during daytime only; the mirror-effect is reversed at night since the interior will be exposed to more light than the exterior. The side with the most light will have the mirror-like appearance. FILM APPLIED ON THE OUTSIDE. It rejects heat by reflecting a lot of the solar energy out before it can even pass through the window. Sealing the edges with silicone window caulking is recommended. STRONG ADHESIVES to last many years. For easier installation, remember to use A LOT of soap/water mixture to soak both the adhesive side and window. HIGH QUALITY PERFORMANCE films that are sensitive by nature. Please remember to take caution when handling the film as the slightest fold will create a permanent wrinkle. FREE TOOLS AND EASY INSTALLATION GUIDE to make installation DIY-friendly. Make sure window surface is completely clean and absolutely free of any blemishes.

Check out the first review of "Great Bald ", very detailed and.

Check out the first review on "Great Bald", very detailed and to the point. I use foil to insulate the Miami Mornings heat, I have 8 10" x 80" panels half of which have foil installed and I can see how much insulation it provides. all without obscuring my vision.

Looks good but quite difficult to assemble

That was damn difficult! The end result looks amazing so make sure you have enough patience. I wiped the thing like hell but there's still air bubbles in there and maybe even some dog hair. You really can't get it super clean, there are still small bits in it. In the end I realized it was as good as it gets :)

  • Large selection

Completely lost my mirror after just a few months!

So at first I was very happy with this product. At first it wasn't crystal clear (like the 3m tint I professionally applied to my car windows) but it was clear enough. Then, a few weeks later, I noticed cloudy patches. Then, after a few months, everything got kind of hazy inside, and I found that the mirroring on the outside was completely gone! Only at the edges where it separated from the glass was there anything left. waste product.

Ease of use and quality products.

10 windows on the sunny side of our house are curtained. The first window was a problem because I had never tried it before. It's quality material and a bit forgiving. The instructions on the packaging are clear and easy to follow. Here are some tips I've learned. Spray windows with glass cleaner and scrape the window with a single-sided blade. This will remove stuck and paved pebbles that you can't see. It was important. Then wipe down the window with a cleaner, paper towels, and finally a…

Great product - so far so good.

In Arizona, the sun burns out year-round. My house has almost floor-to-ceiling west-facing windows in the kitchen and living room. I wanted something that can reduce the heat and reduce sun damage. First I decided to test this on a window. As said, the windows are large: 34 x 94. The only thing that cannot be overemphasized; Use a large amount of soapy water. The more you use, the easier it will be to use. With windows as big as mine, if the wind catches it and you don't get it wet, it'll stick

Save your money for lost mirror reflection.

Let me start by saying I have applied window films before although they were inside but they are horrible to apply, it's like trying to apply sticky film and then trying to cut them. Your window, and half the time it rips through the window if you try to cut it open. Now I followed the instructions, scrubbed the window pain and cleaned up everything I could. When I finally got it I was very pleased, I really felt it reduced the incoming heat. That being said, I installed the first batch in…

Hot summer fun

I have 4 skylights in my kitchen which make it hot in the mornings during the summer months. I was researching skylight blinds but didn't want to jump in for a $500 solution that might not work. I decided to try exterior window film. Not a newbie to window film, I have found this product to be neither lighter nor more difficult than other brands I have used. If you've never done this before, cut a smaller piece of film and practice just to get a feel for it. Here are six things I've learned…

Attention perfectionists!

First off, the film itself isn't bad - it's quite reflective and is just what I needed to add some privacy to my front door. The problem is that you cannot install it perfectly. I should clarify a bit here - you can't perfectly install it on the windows I have. If you have plastic trim around your window that you can easily pull out, you're worth your weight in gold (except anyone can easily pull your window out from the outside). However, my windows have wood paneling around them and are…

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • A little torn

In the three photos attached, one of the four windows is still open so you can see the difference in reflection. Also note that in the photo taken from the room, the sky and trees have much more pleasant tones and contrasts through the film than without it. I choose exterior film because the previous owner had already installed interior film along with sunscreen on exterior windows that have seen better days. I love having clean windows, and removing, washing, and replacing (ugly) sunscreen…
