Historically, the most rugged wood-grip screwdrivers in the world. You can do absolutely anything with these tools - turn, pry, excavate, pound - whatever you can come up with. Solid forged steel from tip to top with rugged lacquered wooden grips. Comes in four sizes including 6, 8, 10 and 12" lengths. These are roughly finished screwdrivers and while brand new will require some work if you want to the fit and finish.

Cheap quality. But we will fix it.

Cheap Chinese quality as expected. The tips are too thick to use. Sand the marks around the entire perimeter. In order to use them, you need to resharpen the thickness of the tips. I redid mine. Sand any bumps and sand the wood. For the money they are just about ok.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some variety

Good for the price.

I have these for all those jobs where after a few uses you need to bang something with a screwdriver or pry something open. I mean, well the steel is good, but the grips leave something to be desired. Sanded with 60 grit paper and shipped. Quick sand and some wood wax feel a lot better though.

  • Price
Cons
  • I'll add later

Looks solid Screwdrivers and wrenches

Received the item today, the panels look like raw pine covered in the same wax as the rest of the tool. They don't fit very well, but they fit well and snugly. Given their simplicity, I see no problem in swapping them out later if needed. I'm not sure what grade of steel is used for the tool, but it's definitely strong and looks solid. It lends itself perfectly to disassembly because let's face it, you're going to use it the same way you would use a crowbar and a flathead screwdriver. I assume…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Consider these vintage instrument replicas a project

I've always liked HD Smith's old "Perfect Handle" instruments. Of course, these Chinese copies are in better condition and much cheaper than the real vintage copies you can find. The steel runs all the way through the handle and feels quite thick. However, you should think of these screwdrivers as a kit or project. Wooden handles are rough and you need to sand them down and fill them with polyurethane or even better replace them with your favorite exotic wood. All blades are too thick to fit in

Pros
  • Solid forged steel from tip to tip with durable lacquered wood handles
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Homemade!. on Power & Hand Tools

without skill or care. Steel is nothing special, ordinary mild steel, wood is soft and light. The handle is NOT painted or shellac coated which would be fine as I prefer a boiled linseed oil treatment unless otherwise noted. The wood is thin and rough, far from symmetrical, and a few rivets stick out proudly and cling to things. Grips rely less on fit and rivets and more on glue. The metal was poorly forged and not fully melted in places, then quickly ground to the desired shape, leaving a heat

Pros
  • Historically the world's longest lasting wooden handle screwdrivers. You can do absolutely anything with these tools - twist, pry, dig, hammer - anything you can think of
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
