The EZ-Bridge-LT+ is a high power outdoor 250mW wireless bridge system operating in the 2.4GHz unlicensed frequency spectrum providing real world thruput up to 100 Mb/sec. It complies with the 802.11g and n standards to insure interoperability. The EZ-Bridge-LT+ creates a transparent wireless bridge between two networks up to 3 miles apart with good line of sight. It is the perfect plug and play solution for connecting the networks in two or more buildings, internet access sharing, remote video surveillance or remote network access. Multiple EZ-Bridge-LT+ units can be connected in a mesh configuration to allow interconnecting more than two sites.

There were some problems at first, but Tycon technical support helped me.

Unlike most buyers, my antennas didn't work right away. I don't know much about networking at all, but I learned a few things during this setup. One important thing to avoid is when you first turn on the antennas, do not connect the receiving antenna to your router. If, like me, you need WiFi on the receiving side, configure the router as a "Wireless Access Point" on this side. I think that screwed me up - the receiving router gave the antenna on the other side an IP address and messed up the…

Not so easy "EZ Bridge Lite "

Looks like a well made product that works well once built. I had a hard time downloading and running the Discovery Tool software and found the technical support to be almost non-existent. Technical support is not available more than 4 days a week during normal business hours and most of the time you will not receive a live answer to your call and will instead receive voicemail. I was able to get a few emails back and forth but never spoke to anyone about support. Luckily I solved the problems…

It's been a month and so far so good.

We have two AirBNB buildings that are across the street and a few houses apart. And we didn't want to pay for internet in either of them. And we can't run a cable across the street so this seemed like the perfect solution for us and it's worked well so far. I will update this review if we run into any issues. It says it can go many miles. I only use it for about 400 feet or so. Maybe it's too much of a good thing for my use case. But we tested a regular router and it just didn't work, we only…
