Damn decent price

Got this after trying another capture card that failed on arrival. It was a bit of a hassle to get started, but once it did, it recorded everything I ran through component cables and the HDMI port. It comes with the device itself, a USB connector to connect the device to a computer or an included power supply, and an adapter that can accept both component and composite inputs. However, no HDMI cables are included, although one is required for output and the other for each HDMI input. I bought…

Didn't work as it should

I've tried 2 times without stuttering more than 14fps while my other capture unit was recording at 29fps and the quality was better. I am about to return.

Technically works on computer components

I'm hoping to use this to record and convert HD video and stream it to my phone or tablet BUT when I try to connect HDMI devices it doesn't display anything , it works when I use the component video cables that came with it, but the video quality is much lower. The main reason I only give 2 stars is because the customer support is absolutely zero.

never worked. the light is on and says it's a recording. nothing on MANY different high-speed cards, all fat 32. Basically, I bought the HD Pass carefully. Oh and the software key is two tier and they want you to buy new software!

Ezcap 284 is great and simple

This is a great game capture if you just want to capture the game from the console. It's very easy to use. Now, unlike my predecessors, I can use the remote control to record and stop. You don't need a computer for it to work, and it also records in high quality at 60 frames per second. It's not so expensive that it's in my price range. Film quality Not very good

I bought this device because of its ease of use. I was hoping to use it at the church I attend. I was very disappointed with the video quality. compared it to the Elgato video capture device we used. The results weren't that good. Also, the first entry was corrupted by the second entry. This is unacceptable.

Cheap and easy! Perfect VCC for LP turntable

I've tried both HDMI and RCA and everything works great. I have three ex-fat hard drives (two 32GB and one 1TB) and it records great and looks good. I've only tested Retropie and n64 for writing so far, but I'm sure my Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, PS2-P4 and Xbox will work too! The file sizes aren't that big either. I don't record with HDMI but I did a 6 minute recording from my N64 for my YouTube channel and as it's in 720 format (which is the best you can get with RCA) it's not more than 1GB, like…
