I bought other charging cables for my Vivoactive 3 Music once I got the watch but it didn't have a base. For some reason I thought the base was useless but I wish I had bought it sooner. I've always had to find a soft spot to put the face down when connecting other charging cables to the watch (including one from Garmin), but that's not necessary with them. I was looking for a way to charge my 935 while working on longer ultras. I used to have to take my watch off, connect it to the battery and put the whole package in my pocket. Update: I used this charger for my first 100 miles ultra on August 22, 2020 and it worked great! Admittedly, one of the two got kicked out because it didn't pair well with my watch, but I still have the other and highly recommend it, especially for charging on the go. Can't believe it took me so long to find out and buy Garmin's EZCO charging station! I love my Garmin S60 golf watch. IMHO this is the best and most attractive smartwatch out there. But what has always bothered me about all smartwatches is that they place the charging contacts on the back - right where you sweat. The pins will soon corrode and the watch will become unusable, forcing you to clean the pins after each use. Documentation EZCO comes with a clip-on protection package that solves this

Used with Garmin Vivoactive 4s. The Garmin OEM cable is ridiculously short and requires you to plug it in properly to use it. Also, you must leave the watch face down or on its side while charging. I ordered longer cables from the aftermarket which worked but didn't solve the problem with plugging etc. I also tried this device. Well I had a chance to use this item and after receiving this item I took one out of my pocket and used it a few times. As I prepared for the trip, I decided to test the other to make sure they both work. Luckily I checked it out because one of them was broken and out of order.
