Unfortunately the photos deceive me that they are longer and can be used for an application that clearly warned me that it would not fit.

When I opened the box I was concerned about the length. It seemed too short for me, but it fits my 2018 mini hardtop perfectly.

Although they said they didn't fit my 2016 Hyundai Accent they worked great, they were about 2 inches longer but easy to adjust

Less than a month after replacing the factory plastic on the replacement cracked and was dangling uselessly. waste of money. The cable is twice the thickness of the factory cable and doesn't hold onto the knob it hangs from.

Worked on my 2013 Hyundai Accent hatchback - it was a bit long but the length can be adjusted. I'm glad it works because Hyundai doesn't sell them themselves. Will likely work with any hatchback that has this style of liftgate lift.

Didn't work like I should. It was stretchy and took some time to get the right length. The elastic snapped under the weight of the shelf so I adjusted the length to fit the center cord and it seems to be working fine. However, it works, so it's not a terrible product.

I bought these for my MK6 (2013) Golf TDI. As with the Golf, no matter what MK6 Golf or GTI you have, they won't fit because they're too short. The old one is about 2-3 cm shorter. They go all the way to the top of the lid but should be enough to fit through the hole and socket. The cord, grommet and plastic connector appear to be well made. The string is thicker than the OEM/standard string I've tested, although I can't install them and they fit fine.
