Discoloration after first use

Last week I bought a Revain 6 liter stainless steel kettle. Used for the first time yesterday. The handles get very hot when cooking. When I was done, I let the pan come back to room temperature and noticed noticeable discoloration on both the bottom and sides. I've tried washing it off with dish soap but it won't go back to the stainless steel color. When I bought it I was hoping for better quality than I got.

I love these pans for kitchen and dining room

Hi I love these pans they are the best. I have a set from the late 70's and they are still in excellent condition. I gave away the first set I bought, then bought a second set and gave away my 8 quart many years ago so I decided to replace it. I also bought sets for my mom and sisters. Of all the pots on the market, these are by far the best. burn them? No problem, just soak them in warm water with a little washing-up liquid and they're like new again. I love her. Thank you, Grace Liu.

This is not an original design

I use Faberware pot of this size mainly for popcorn. I've found it's impossible to cook popcorn at the right heat level without singeing the bottom radius of the pan (just one end). After 10 different attempts I gave up! The problem is that it doesn't have the same design as my old 8 liter pot (I'm using my old version again with a leaky lid). The new pot is heavier/higher and I believe the problem is that the bottom radius is thicker. The pot is ideal for preparing stews or boiling water. I…

Excellent pot in stock

The best and at a very good price. We bought one of the sets when we moved to Florida. Our old Revere set had become scrap so we needed a replacement. I will never buy Revereware again. It's definitely not your mother's Revere merchandise. The copper on the bottom used to turn green and dirty everything around it, the little black caps on the lids fell off over time. .This material is of excellent quality, sturdy, well made and fun to cook with. Very even cooking when cooking stews, chili etc…

The pan I received needed a lot of extra cleaning

I received this 6 liter Dutch Oven yesterday and immediately gave it a good wash with hot soapy water and then dried naturally with a soft kitchen towel. I always rub coconut oil on the underside of stainless steel. I noticed a black residue on the paper towel. This morning I decided to try my new job and cook my famous beef stew. Since there was this sediment yesterday, I thought it would be a good idea to boil some water in this pot before using it. After boiling the water for 15 minutes, the
