High quality perfect for garden sleepers

I used the 8 inch version of these picks for my garden sleepers, they were left over from another project. Needing more I went with the 10" version to get a better grip on the neighboring sill. Great product, no pre-drilling required, just bites into wood and digs through with ease. Comes with a quality drill bit that works perfectly fits the nut at the top of the bolt.

Pros
  • Industrial and scientific
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

SUITABLE Landscape Tribe Equipment

I bought it a few years ago but couldn't find it anymore. Thanks Revin :) For landscape logs, this is the best I've found so far. When I had to redesign part of the landscape, most of the old screws could be reused. YMMV according to Mother Nature. I used a 1/2" drill to screw them in (lots of torque) so I'm not sure how well a standard drill would fit, but pilot drilling (if needed) would be an option.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • No Machine

Great product but you need a good drill to use them.

Used for a 6" x 6" pressure treated timber retaining wall. They work great but you really need a strong drill to hammer them. I tried an 18v cordless hammer drill and they only got halfway through. I tried a 3/8 electric drill and it went 3/4. Eventually I used my old but good 1/2" corded electric dripper and at 30 amps it drove them all around and even sank them. They seem to be made of good quality steel because they never break even if you throw them away. So they're super strong It was…

Pros
  • Hardware
Cons
  • Long Stock
