It works well especially for the price

so it works great and looks great. Also, it's built like a tank. I compare it to the more expensive Robinaire brand and it works just as well but sounds very different. Compared to Robiners, the engine sounds unhealthy. It's like listening to a '69 Corvette and then comparing it to a 2020 Hyundai. So it's louder than the Robinaire and gets hotter (see photo), but does the job and is very good value. It's also two-stage, so it can create deeper vacuums. Great pump for the money

I am very impressed with this pump. I just installed a mini split and had to bleed the system before I could release the refrigerant. I borrowed a RobinAir single stage pump from a friend and it took forever to evacuate. I ran his pump for several hours and could only get it down to 300 microns. A Revain truck came and delivered this pump so I hooked this pump up and within minutes I was under 200 microns. This pump is significantly quieter than RobinAir. The air conditioning manifold pressure gauge hose cannot be connected to the pump without a separate adapter

The air conditioning condenser on one of my vehicles was damaged in an accident a few weeks ago. All of the coolant has leaked out. After replacing the condenser and dryer, I had to vacuum the system to remove moisture from the system before recharging.
