Great Anti-Scald Lamp

I recently purchased the Fdit Reptile Anti Scald Ceramic Lampshade for my pet terrarium and it has been fantastic so far! As my tests showed, the ceramic material protects my reptile from burns and its size fits perfectly on my terrarium heat lamp. The lamp also generates enough heat without drying my pet's skin, which is a big plus. My only complaint is that it's not the most aesthetically pleasing lampshade, but I'll gladly sacrifice appearance for my pet's comfort and safety. Overall, I…

Description Far from accurate

I needed a very specific size. The measurements they show are 5.1 inches which will fit perfectly. They are actually much smaller, only 4.5 inches. So it doesn't fit my lightbulb.

A bit small for heat lamps

These cages are long enough to hold a medium sized light fixture plus a ceramic heater or even an incandescent bulb. However, they aren't as big as advertised when it comes to the size of the square that attaches to the mount. They are about 1/4 inch shorter. Why did I give them four stars? Well, they're pretty good quality and it was pretty easy to fold them down the middle of each side to make them fit.
