Despite the ridiculous price this product works great and this is my solution to those leaking and leaking thermostat housings.

Don't like it, fix a leaking thermostat housing in 30 minutes. Pull off the old gasket and assemble without sealant. I had no more leaks.

A very nice detail. I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product. Works fantastic. Haven't even used RTV yet and it sealed amazingly. Very easy and quick to do.

I used this on my 64 El Camino 283. I've always had a small leak in the thermostat housing. Ordinary gaskets seal for a while and then start to leak. This Fel-Pro is perfectly sealed. Do not overtighten the screws. The built-in O-ring does the job.

91 Chevy S-10 4.3L 262k Replaced thermostat and used this DRY gasket between manifold and water outlet housing. Fasteners are tightened as expected, not a drop leaked out. The best T-Gasket I've ever used and while its premium quality and performance hardly justify the excessive cost, a few more thermostat changes could suffice as it's reusable and no scraping of sealant required.

I trust FelPro with almost every seal they use and this was no exception. This gasket was made for the thermostat housing of a 1965 Studebaker Commander Small Block V8, 283 engine. The gasket is very well made and looks like it will last almost forever. Note to Installers: Be sure to use the recommended torque settings for the thermostat housing (15-20 ft/lbs).
