Nice and fast seals

came nice and fast. This is the second one I've ordered, the first came all bent and cracked. But the second time is a charm.

Fel Pro used to be as good or even better than OEM.

Not as good as the original, Fel Pro made it cheaper to manufacture. Not as thick as the original, not as stiff or all-metal as the original. I've reused the original a few times to fix cracked exhaust manifolds. Finally decided that replacing it this time is better than reusing it. Probably shouldn't have been.

Check before use.

When I took mine out of the box it was crumpled. Bought another one from the same seller. The second had a small kink at the end. Not enough to matter. Great fit. No leakage. The pad itself is very good. It would be cheaper to get it at Advanced but I'd rather pay double than go to my local one. The nearest return center is about 80 miles from me. In case anyone is wondering why I didn't return the original.

Perfect for spares

This gasket is well made and definitely worth the money for a leak proof guarantee. The distributor is installed by two people. We used this gasket in place of the one that came with the replacement header. I'm glad we spent the money on both. None of us would want to do this assembly job again. There is very little wiggle room to maneuver parts. We used it on our 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Fits perfectly and is going strong after many months of exploring the Rocky Mountains.

Creepy packaging best in gaskets

This intake manifold gasket came in a flattened box. Unfortunately there is a seam where the box was folded. This seam became a crease where the 24 inch long gasket containing the box folded in half. I don't understand why anyone would even think this is a good idea for packaging. I paid extra money for the Fel Pro gasket as it is so much better than the cheap gasket that came with the header pipe that I also bought. I know the Fel Pro products are the best but I'm not sure how well they work…
