Don't be cheap oil

seal! I bought a pan and gasket and it was so easy to swap out. First I tried to align with the old gasket - pain in. . New gasket on pallet, ready in less than 15 minutes.

3.7L JEEP COMMANDER 2006 PERFECT FIT

Perfect replacement for a leaking 2006 Jeep Commander 3.7L. However, due to the U-shaped support, it was a damn tedious effort to unscrew a screw on the back. With a lot of patience and a flexible 12 inch extension I was able to remove it. The whole job was done in about 2 hours with the right tools.

Oh yes, we did it!

Well that was a CHALLENGE. But we were able to dance the old swamp and install this without removing the engine, differential, resetting the axles or whatever the YouTube rebuild videos say is required for installation. Also bought an oil pan - it needs to come out so the pan is maneuverable enough to get out of. You then have to be very flexible and have flexible fingers to slide the pallet back into place. Load it into the oil pan by threading it through the gasket and install while keeping…

Send the used gasket to the fist. Then I ordered a brand new one

Update: 06/21/2022 Sent the old one back and ordered a new one. There are new ones this time. This work was not easy. I highly recommend paying a professional to do this. Don't get me wrong, I've had good experiences. Do it yourself but this one was tough. To explain why it's difficult. These seals have been known to melt on the pallet. You will most likely need to slowly beat it into the pan. DO NOT tear off. The gasket is held in place with two nuts and one bolt that hold the oil pickup tube…
