Perfect fit for 2002 Corolla

No more oil leaks, misfire problem fixed. Original gasket (155,000 miles) had multiple leaks; Spark plug hole #4 suffered the most. It is filled with oil and has caused severe misfires and CELs; Replacing the MAF, oxygen sensor and idle regulator did not help. This simple seal solved the problem for good; no oil drips on the road is a bonus.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Good but not great

quality product. Best in Rocker Cover Gasket Kits

I've already installed my gasket and it worked great. The pad felt like a quality product and served its purpose. The only thing that struck me as interesting was that the seal was dark blue. Not so hot what's up. The photo shows only the black lining. If you look very closely just from the point of view of the rite, you will never see the color blue. i really like it

or stitching like the timing chain

Appears to be high quality, blue. Installation was easier than I thought. Hopefully this will keep oil from getting on the spark plug on cylinder 3 on my 2001 Prizm. The old one was dry and cracked, maybe that was the problem. Remember to take some RTV silicone with you in case there are any bumps or seams e.g. B. where the timing chain is located. Rough spots can develop by simply prying them off with a screwdriver if you're not careful.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Perfect fit for 2004 Corolla S

While my car was having a mechanical problem they told me I had a leaking valve cover which they wanted to replace for $310 plus $150 for the tensioner o-ring and 190 $. on a new Poly-V belt. Forget it! I do it myself So I researched what to buy and how to do maintenance. After purchasing all of the above parts plus a new PCV valve, I spent less than $75. The hardest part of replacing the valve cover was removing the old accumulated oil. Plain green has worked wonders here. A few hours later…

Good quality and fit

Purchased to replace a 13 year old OEM rocker cover gasket on a 2001 Corolla that had hardened and was leaking oil around the top edge of the cylinder head and also into the spool packings . I was surprised to see that I got a blue one instead of the black one in the photo! However, it is still made from excellent quality silicone and fits perfectly. No leaks yet but will need to check in a few weeks. The kit also included a bag of two hard rubber ring-shaped washers for the valve cover center…

as another reviewer mentioned

noticed oil on my coils when changing the spark plug so this is the solution. My new seal was blue as another reviewer mentioned. I liked this as the color helps to create contrast when leveling the installation. It was a perfect match for my 2004 base 1.8 liter Pontiac Vibe engine. After 200,000 miles the old gasket became hard and I was able to pry it open with my fingers when pulling it out. An added benefit of this job was that the problem with the oil fill area could be fixed. These…

Perfect for spares

Changed the spark plugs at about 230,000 on my 2007 Toyota Corolla because the car was working hard uphill. When I removed the spark plugs I found oil around three of the spark plugs. I could see where the oil was leaking through the valve cover gasket and knew I would need to replace the valve cover gasket soon. The car started uphill again and I knew it wasn't my new spark plugs but thought it might be because the oil was leaking around the spark plugs again. I bought a new valve cover gasket

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
