Gaskets fit well and are not yet leaking. As always everything should be clean and just smear a bit of silicone on the joints.

This gasket was better than the one I was looking to buy from Autozone. The grooves got deeper so I didn't have to use Permatex, but I did it anyway 😉 no more leakage

are ridiculous. The seals are worn, so it is not possible to tell if they are ok. Pkg says they are for my car but they are 2 inches too long. Don't buy them!

Gaskets either fit or they don't. This gasket fits my 2007 Mazda 6S V6 3.0. Although it's very close, it doesn't cut it. The loop over the rear cam seal bracket is too long and therefore provides a poor seal.

I bought these for my 2004 Mazda 6 vs6. They said they fit but they didn't fit, one of them is too long and the other one is too short, the only thing that fits had spark plug grommets. I'm disappointed with that because they said it would fit but it didn't.

I installed it on my 2005 Mazda 6 and it broke down and the leak came back after about 2 months. Right in the same place. This is the angle at which oil will pool due to the engine's inherent tilt. The oil seems hot enough to melt the gasket. Also with Permatex. Although the outside temperature has also dropped about 30 degrees, from 90 degrees when I installed it this summer to about 60 degrees this fall.

Unlike the other reviewers, my pads arrived exactly as described and pictured. Black silicone for pressing the outer edge of the valve cover and blue rings for the spark plug holes. Reference washers are built into the black gaskets to align them and indicate where to apply the RTV silicone (this is where the covers sit over the seam where the timing cover meets the cylinder heads). Both sides of the engine are counted, so if you need to count both valve covers this kit will get the job done…
