Just used two of these to install a radon fan

If you are installing a 4" radon fan and using a 4"-40" PVC fan these are the correct connectors. I wish , they would have sold them in white for the same price, but the whites don't seem to be tanium.

The plumber knows that's a good thing.

For LOW PRESSURE applications - no stainless steel outer jacket like a clamp. Useful when you need to snap off a cast iron sewer pipe and convert it to PVC, add a cleaning fitting or redo a bend for the bath cluster/toilet drain etc. They have lugs to adapt to OD copper tubing.

Pros
  • Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Plumbing
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected

Not suitable for connecting 4 " dust collection hoses.

I bought this specifically to fit an adapter to the dust collection outlet on woodworking machines and it doesn't fit. I wish I'd read another reviewer who had the same problem but somehow I missed it. I have an adapter to convert the 4" connector to a 2 1/2" connector to fit my shop vacuum. But the tool connector AND mine Adapters are both 4" OD so they won't connect. Again a mistake on my part. I thought this coupler had a 4" ID and would allow me to fit this adapter. The description says…
