Prints great right out of the box!

Working on a large print when my Ender 3 Pro decided to rack my brains and go on vacation I switched to my CR10S which I have had with little success set up to use PETG. After 2 failed prints I decided to try another thread before tweaking the machine further and this is where Sunlu White PETG comes to the rescue! ordered 1 roll to see if there was a difference and boy did it! My CR10S loves it! My settings are 240/70 and 50mm with a full metal hot end and it printed the perfect calibration…

  • 3D printing consumables

  • No automatic printing

SunLu's first roll of PETG

This is my second attempt at PETG. I'm trying SunLu because the last brand I bought produced brittle prints. It might have been a "wet" roll, user error, I'm not sure as I'm new to PETG. I chose this brand because I had great success with their PLA+. This will be a reference video for me to learn how to set it up and get first practice prints. I'll report the results when I do that. At the moment I give 4 stars for fast and free shipping and accurate order. I'll adjust once I have a calibrated…

Pros
  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great with some "tweaks "

As with the 3D printing hobby in general, PETG requires some trial and error to get a satisfactory print. This review is for a twin pack (black and gray) of sunlu Filament Petg 1.75. After several failed print attempts with this thread (this isn't a Sunlu hit, petg needs some work to get it right) I'm finally very happy with my prints and want to share my settings and what's working for me. Bowden setup, real Bondtech extruder and real all-metal e3d v6 hotend - Hotend temperature: 245°C - Build

Pros
  • Industry & Science
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
