Wow - complete failure

I tried to print a simple object three times - the nozzle was clogged three times. I replaced the nozzle after the first clog and drained the extruder assembly completely after the second clog. I've also tried different temperatures. After the 3rd clog I'm completely done with this thread. I've never had the "opportunity" to use yarn of this quality. Of course, I recommend you stay away from this stuff.

Pros
  • Industrial and scientific additive manufacturing products Consumables for 3D printing Filament for 3D printing
Cons
  • No machine

Nothing But Clogs – Additive Manufacturing Products

This is the worst yarn I have ever used. I had high hopes based on previous reviews but was very disappointed. The color is amazing but that's where the good ends. This thread does nothing other than clog the injectors. I've tried the wear-resistant Micro-Swiss nozzles (two), regular brass nozzles (two), and it even clogged my Nozzle X. I tried it on three different printers, all with the same result. I've printed with several other brands of filament including silk and never had this problem…

Pros
  • Premier Material, raw material from the USA.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Basically good. but curvy! phew

I really like this thread, it's beautiful. I got it to make marble walkways for my daughter whose favorite color is indigo and all the other shades of purple I could find weren't exactly purple but fuchsia. It's totally different so calling it purple sucks, but still! It's pretty, shiny and PURPLE, but. BUT! The coil winding is TERRIBLE. It's beating all the time, and all the prints we've made need to be carefully checked for it all the time. And honestly, I'd like to say that it's not a big…

Pros
  • Silk Purple: 3D printed finish with a silky smooth surface.
Cons
  • Some errors
