    Warm feet in my opinion

Based on some reviews I was a bit nervous as people complain when temperatures drop below freezing. My first ride with them was in 20 degrees. F for 1.5 hours. A pair of wool socks and toe warmers and my feet never felt cold or remotely cold. The same setup in my regular shoes with thermal overlays would have caused my toes to freeze. I have no doubt that I can go down another 5-10 degrees without too much trouble. I bought them at a really good price and would recommend them if you can find…

    Pros
    • Stylish and elegant black design
    Cons
    • Shoes can be uncomfortable

    US size is wrong

The shoes are great. Absolutely waterproof and warm. Comfortable on a 2 hour ride in 40 degree weather, still wet weather. However, Revain has incorrect US sizing. I ordered a US size 11.5 and received a 9.5 and had to return it. I asked for a US size 14 for the second pair and got the 11.5 I needed. Great shoe, great price, poor Revain sizing.

    Pros
    • They are true to size, but they fit tighter than I would like in thick winter socks. I had to take half a number.
    Cons
    • The zipper came loose and was difficult to fix.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Wear them properly and they work as intended.

They performed well in cooler weather and performed well in reducing spray and wind impact. Warm toes are great. When it rains, cover it with a waterproof layer for the best effect. The shoe size I ordered fits as expected. The boot may benefit from a 2-5mm offset in the center bolt closure to fit those with wider feet; The lift side is uncomfortably close to the handlebars. I do not recommend them for long walks as the boot is constructed with reduced ankle articulation.

    Pros
    • Excellent quality but one big problem, they kept sending me the wrong size.
    Cons
    • Shoes are too expensive

Well constructed, keeps feet completely dry

Really good winter shoes. My usual loop from home in the woods involves several small creek crossings, and there's nothing worse than cold/wet feet. I've been wearing waterproof socks with my standard SIDI MTB shoes for a while, but my feet still get cold when the shoes get wet. With this new shoe NO WET FEET, no cold feet, no shoes that dry every ride. The sole is really durable and has excellent traction. I had a slight irritation on my calf at the toe of a boot related to the zipper but I…

Exactly what I was hoping for

I never buy shoes online due to sizing, but I really wanted to get rid of cold toes and needed as many options as possible at the best price. The fit is slightly larger which is a nice touch as thicker socks can be used if desired. I've only got 30 miles on them so far but they do the trick. I walked 20 miles in 40 degree sunny weather wearing only long socks (the kind you find at the grocery store) and my toes were fine but not warm. They were colder than when I put my shoes on and they got a…

    Pros
    • Waterproof upper and taped seams keep feet dry and warm.
    Cons
    • The laces are not strong enough

**To update. I ended up placing new orders for US sizes larger than recommended for my use and I ended up with something in a US size that actually fits me. . I ordered the two most suitable US sizes (US size was the only option in the dropdown). When the products appeared in my shopping cart, they were too small in European sizes. I removed them from the cart and re-added them with the US size in the drop down menu and again they came up in the cart with the EU size being undersized. In fact…

    Pros
    • Fits well and keeps feet warm
    Cons
    • I was very happy when I saw that they are size 15. They arrived and the size right on the box is 12.5. Pure waste of time.

I really, really wanted to like these shoes

I really, really wanted to like these boots. I thought they looked good and seemed well made. ADVANTAGES: They are well made. I can explain how this is possible. ), but they were colder than my specialized mountain bike shoes. I don't know if it has to do with the design of the zipper, but whatever, I was COLD. Second, I tried to solve the problem on my second ride with a thick wool sock. Well after trying to get my foot in the boot for a while I couldn't zip it up. And that brings me to the…

    Pros
    • Great waterproof winter boot for the trails of Oz and beyond.
    Cons
    • Shoes can easily be damaged

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

OK, not great and not high performance

First I got them back without getting on my bike so read with some skepticism. I found the fit a bit loose and the kids were stiff - the outer material would crumple when flexed. It might have been a size too big for me but I doubt it and I had too high expectations for winter boots in this price range. The outsole flexes more than carbon or similar shoes at this price point. I have friends who really enjoy going on winter trips with them. Personally, I'm happier wearing the SIDI Zero/Frost.

    Pros
    • Tanto comfort and low temperature and impermeability
    Cons
    • The sole is not durable

Scarpe da MBT in my review

Incredible shoes. I used to wear Giro clipless shoes with a neoprene toe cap, but I've found these to be the best option for winter riding. It has enough grip for off-road mountain biking and smooth enough for highway riding. They are waterproof, comfortable, good looking and very practical.

    Pros
    • Comfortable enough for everyday use
    Cons
    • Shoes may not be very comfortable for walking

    Great mountain bike shoes

Ideal for mountain biking in winter. In winter I go mountain biking every weekend. We go through a lot of mud and water. No other shoes appear to be fully waterproof, most of them are just overlays that let water through. Then I put on waterproof socks for an extra layer of protection, just in case.

    Pros
    • Shoes keep you warm and dry and minimize the risk of getting sick.
    Cons
    • Shoes may not be suitable for people with wide feet.

Love these boots good for me

love these boots! They are light and when I wear them the feeling is no different than when I wear cycling shoes. They keep my feet exceptionally warm and dry with just a pair of lightweight socks.

    Pros
    • Reinforced rubber toe for added durability
    Cons
    • Shoes may not be very stylish

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, warm - my new test report

The first impression is great. They had thin socks at 50*F and were too warm. Merino wool socks are good for colder times.

    Pros
    • This boot is well made. It's a tight fit and my grandson has a narrow foot so I'll take that into account when ordering.
    Cons
    • The zipper broke in less than a year rendering them completely unusable.

    Solid winter cycling shoes (roadies)

Love it! Much better than covers. Drive them (on the road) for about 500 miles in 30-45 degree temperatures including rain. Feet stay warm. I would buy them again without hesitation

    Pros
    • Provides excellent traction on any terrain
    Cons
    • Shoes can lose their shape after a few uses.

walk a little - my new review

I first ordered a size 42 which according to Amazon was a size 11. I wear size 11 in Adidas and Nike. My foot is on the narrow side. The 42s were very tight so I returned them and got a 43.5. They fit how I think they should fit an 11 but are still snug for winter boots. If you want to wear thicker socks, you need to choose a larger size. My feet aren't cold anymore, but they could be warmer if I had enough room to wear thicker socks that aren't as tight. Otherwise I am very happy with them. My

    Pros
    • Offers a versatile fit for most foot types with some adjustments
    Cons
    • Shoes may not be suitable for off-road driving.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    They are warm: my rating

Road into the low 40's, high 30's in these boots and my feet stayed warm. It was cold under 30 but there is enough space between the inner and outer shoe to fit a hand warmer.

    Pros
    • The non-marking outsole provides durable traction for cycling and walking.
    Cons
    • Shoes can cause leg fatigue

Excellent winter cycling shoes with adequate thermal insulation and full ankle coverage. However, the size is ridiculous. I ordered US 10 and that was what Revain listed in the order description. What I got was US 8 1/4 which is a far cry from US 10. The product itself seems amazing but I can't keep it due to the wrong size (I used to laugh why people were angry about its table sizes but now I fully understand their frustration). At least the returns process was that easy (returns to Whole Food

    Pros
    • Easy to clean and maintain, making maintenance quick and hassle free
    Cons
    • Shoes may not have enough support

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    Wow! It did not work!

I shouldn't be so surprised, there was another review that said her sizing was wrong. I hoped that wouldn't happen to me. I checked and double checked to make sure I submitted the correct size. But when the shoes arrived they were a 7.5 when I ordered 11. I really want these shoes to work as they look like I love them. I didn't want the headaches that someone else had. So yes! If they were the right size the first time I would save them and use them up. Buy these shoes at your own risk!

    Pros
    • Engineered to accommodate thicker socks while maintaining a snug fit.
    Cons
    • Shoes may not have enough cushioning

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    Inaccurate size chart

Let the buyer be alert. The size chart is completely wrong. I ordered US size 9.5 and received size 8 US 40 EUR. Thinking it was an incorrect design I tried to back order the US 9.5 and the order page said an EU size 40. The rest of the size chart is probably miscalculated as well.

    Pros
    • The lightweight design won't tire you out on long rides.
    Cons
    • Shoes may not have adequate ventilation

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Surprisingly warm, waterproof shoes

Super warm shoes, but just the right warmth. It's easy and convenient to enter. The waterproof zipper really works as I sneaked into the water 2 times without penetrating. I really wish the cuff was snug on the leg to keep water out - maybe another accessory could do that and the waterproof shoe dream would come true.

    Pros
    • Offers a comfortable and snug fit without being too tight
    Cons
    • Shoes may not be suitable for people with flat feet.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    Terrible size in my rating.

I bought 3 pairs of these boots trying to find the right fit. The size grid is far from the same. And yet, at 30 degrees, they are not warm enough to drive in them. Save money and buy thermal overshoes

    Pros
    • Made from durable, wear-resistant materials
    Cons
    • Shoes may not fit
