Simple chair. Nothing fantastic. Get what you pay for. I weigh 210 pounds and the chair feels small and uncomfortable on the first try. It may take a few days to get used to it. That's enough for now - until I go to a big city and find the best one I can sit on before I buy it.

Well matched. Not very comfortable. The seat shell could be a little deeper. I'm 1.80m tall so for a small person the seat will probably fit. But since I bought it as a work chair I hope it will work well for any short jobs. It looks very beautiful and very attractive in my office.

EASY to Assemble, High Quality, Great Look, Good Touch. If you plan on sitting in this chair a lot, it's incredibly comfortable. The hydraulics work great and even for a short person (I'm 5ft) it's fine. I've worked in retail with office chairs that cost six times as much that didn't even come close to the comfort of this chair! I would buy this again without hesitation. Great chair at an incredible price.

The packaging was fine but some parts came loose from the boxes and I found them at the bottom of the box. When I first assembled the chair, it leaned to one side. I had to jump up and flip my ass upside down to finally get it straight. Once erected the chair becomes light and seems suitable for this application. **Updated June 2015** The backrest never stays in place and offers no real support. Yuk.

As other reviewers have said the back of the chair is slack and doesn't stay tight in the upright position. It is held in place by a screw and a metal plate that has warped and cracked. The backrest is now reclined and sideways enough that it cannot be used as a computer chair. The "leather" on the seat was completely torn off, leaving a few flakes on the floor. In our throwaway society, I think 4 years is a long time for some consumer goods that need to be stocked or stored. If I buy a product as a retiree, this chair, I expect it to last at least as long as I have. For 4 years I struggled to keep the back of this chair taut, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the back kept loosening and I had to keep tightening it. The first thing that pleased me about this chair is that it is easy to assemble. When I opened the box and saw all the components I suspected this would be a problem. But they included easy-to-follow, illustrated instructions. All screws have been wrapped in bubble wrap on a card and numbered to match the illustrations. This is a very comfortable work chair. That's good news. The bad news is that the leather upholstery is of very poor quality. The skin itself feels very comfortable and smooth. However, the skin is so thin that after a little over two and a half years it started to "wear out”. The skin is so cracked that it's not particularly repairable, if at all. See photo.
