300 hp and 100 degrees

300 hp generally do not exceed cooling and 100 degrees ambient temperature when installing a single fan with this unit. Under 300 hp You can reach over 100 degrees from the outside without any problems. You need a more powerful 16 inch motor with up to 400 hp. 25 mph with AC on, struggling to keep thermostat below 210. Low thrust, low noise, low profile and a very snappy brushless motor. Good bang for your buck.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

Great replacement for the clutch fan on the E38.

Great replacement for clutch fan on E38 BMW. I bought the bracket kit but have not used it. But adjustable fan control is a must https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00029J3ZW/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8

300 hp and 100 degrees

Do not exceed 300 hp. generally cooling and 100 degrees ambient temperature when a single fan is installed with this device. Under 300 hp it struggles. You need a more powerful 16 inch motor with up to 400 hp. Also, you MUST use two fans. Simply driving below 25 mph with the air conditioning on has trouble keeping the thermostat temp below 210. Low thrust, low noise, low profile and a brushless motor that is very annoying. Good bang for your buck.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Happy with the amount of air that comes out.

Compared to other cheaper fans, I am satisfied with the amount of air this fan moves. My only concern is that I bought this fan to replace an identical Flex-A-Lite that turned out to be broken. I tested this fan with a direct connection to the battery and it would not start again. However, this fan started working again for some reason. It couldn't be a thermostat switch or relay as I connected directly to the test to no avail. Not sure why it stopped in the first place (I have a second fan of…

Electric Fan vs Clutch Fan

If you have a clutch fan I highly recommend you switch to an electric fan. Here are the pros and cons I've encountered when making the switch. BENEFITS / No more loud "roaring" noise when accelerating, throttle/accelerate much more responsive when stepping on the accelerator, A/C temp stays low when stopping and - driving in traffic and parking, I don't have the gas mileage though reviewed should be an improvement just due to the fact that the engine slows less, the engine also runs much cooler

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
