Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

I had other pyrometers, this one is the strongest so far, the accuracy is similar to similar devices from other manufacturers.

Pros
  • Excellent model, very strong, very comfortable backlit screen, clear measurement area using 2 diodes.
Cons
  • A little heavy, the ergonomics of the menu is very straightforward, for working with gloves or something. But only roll in one direction. You get used to it.

Well made and accurate, used professionally

Bought to replace a Milwaukee infrared which a friend dropped and broke. I chose this one because it has the same temperature readings as my old one but was half the price. I have other Fluke products and am happy with them. The instruction manual is written in many languages (including English), but everything is illustrative. You need to look very closely at the pictures to determine exactly what they are telling you about how to set it up and use it. Requires one included AA battery…

Excellent long range thermometer with easy to read display

Bought for my father when his old IR thermometer from the early 2000's finally stopped working. Since he can't see well it was important that I give him something with a bright display and backlight and since he uses a wood stove I needed something that could withstand temperatures of at least 1000F (about as hot as it is). can measure) get hot in the oven). It's perfect for that. It's easy to use, has two bright red laser dots to tell you what you're aiming for, and can be easily adjusted to…

Very accurate and consistent

I have purchased two 62 Max Plus models. First I wanted to test their accuracy. In a controlled environment, using a calibrated precision reference thermometer, I found that the readings from both IR thermometers were very close. Both measured 1.2 degrees Fahrenheit above the reference temperature. I ran these tests at a room temperature of 75 degrees, with the target temperature also being 75 degrees. Each thermometer tripped for 5 seconds before readings were taken. I protected my body from…
