After drilling 75 holes I think the drills are done, too boring for further drilling. I don't know if they should last longer but I bought them for this project. They soon start to rust as I doused them with water while drilling. It was the cheapest drill I could find and it was my first time drilling through ceramics. project completed. I am happy with the purchase.

I used this drill bit to drill through a granite countertop for a filtered water faucet. I will say it was good. I actually drilled through the granite and china on a steel sink under the granite. It went through both but when I was done I threw it away as there was no diamond left at the end of the drill bit. I walked slowly, I used water, and it was never hot enough that I couldn't touch it. However, it was mostly finished by the time I got through 5/8" granite. I was basically rubbing my way

I purchased this 1.25 inch piece when I was planning to drill through the ceramic tile in my bathroom to install a handrail. I never finished this project, but soon after I had to drill two holes. at the bottom of a massive concrete urn. This tool did the job very well. I've also since used it to drill a hole in a thick concrete pool. My drill chuck was able to follow this bit to the point where I had a 3" hole - with the center "post" breaking out every 3/4" or so.
