Won't stay attached - poor design

I wanted this to work, I really did. A perfect solution for me if it would.But, sadly -- no.I tried to install it under my Revolver X2 bed cover. The bracket system for supporting the box is just so flimsy that is won't support anything useful. I could tell as I was installing it that it was likely not to be robust, so I made sure all the fasteners were snug and secure.I put the stuff in it that I want to get out of my truck bed -- a toolbox, jack, and chain. Just get the cover,forget to tool box!

The tonneau cover itself is pretty good and I liked it. The supposed "Tool Box" is a terrible design. If you put any amount of weight in it (it is for tools right?) it will sway and fall out of the brackets. I had to create a metal brace bolted onto the bed to keep it from collapsing every time I drove my truck. The cover itself leaked after one year, but they made it good and replaced it for free. The replacement didn't leak, so I'm assuming it was a faulty product.

Not worth the money

Build quality was so poor that it wouldn’t go together. Went ahead and returned it, and went with a cheaper box. Thanks for attention.

Didn't like it - thought the mounting hardware/design was not good

Sent it back for credit. The mounting hardware and design is flimsy and cheap in my opinion. They make me eat the shipping on the way back and I didn't feel I could argue since I'd thrown away the packaging after I installed it. Return shipping was about $80 so that is what it cost me to find out I didn't like it.

Nice but pricey in my review

Very expensive considering how it’s fabricated. I will say however that it is a great design and I’m very happy with the purchase overall. I would’ve probably given it five stars but it didn’t come with the receiving end of the Velcro straps.

Still not sure best in my review

The BAK rails are so flexy with my 2018 Ford F-150 that the box falls out of the rials with just a couple of pounds of tools in it so it does not currently work. Also, the revolver clamps are in the way so the box cannot be mounted at the end of the box. Not really an issue with the box itself but the system as a whole.I am having to take the truck to an authorized dealer AT MY COST since BAK customer support has "never heard of this before”. installs easily and fits well. The velcro that holds the front wall isn't the ideal solution, but it's fine i guess. Risk of theft.

Brackets need to be installed in the correct grooves of the bed rails.

I use this to hold tow straps, tow gear, bungee cords, cinch straps, tool bags, and anything else I don't want rolling in the bed. Initially, I installed the brackets in the wrong part of the rail and it kept falling out with just a little weight. I knew this couldn't be right, so looking closer I saw that I installed them in the wrong groove. Once corrected, it was solid as a rock! I couldn't dislodge the brackets even after pushing and tugging on it. Makes me believe all the negative reviews…

Decent, but overpriced.

It holds alot of junk. I did have to put some velcro on the top rails & the bottom of the removable tray to keep it from sliding around.I think they should give you 4 brackets instead of just two. I cut the two (used for a different install) and made 4 brackets.I like the collapsible option, as I do need the whole bed sometimes.I do think its overpriced for what you get. But overall it's a decent box.
