Where the extension connects to the fork tube, the extension tightens as expected, no problem. The extension fits my new stem perfectly and I had enough spacers (some of which were already installed on my bike). I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.

I used these spacers on my hybrid/city bike. It helped me a lot with landing. I liked being more upright when cycling and the spacers increased the height of the bike handlebars. I also liked that everything was just black with no unnecessary decals or colors added to the piece. Very clean look at the end.

Stars not removed - it's my fault I haven't checked the dimensions of the bike I'm repairing! I'm hoping this will fit on another family member's bike so I won't be returning it. I was sad it didn't fit mine but it looks very high quality and adjustable. Will update this review if it matches another bike and how it holds up.

This stem extension worked very well. I'm 6ft 6" and prior to this lengthening I had the option of setting the seat too low for my legs and having good upper body posture, or raising the seat to the correct leg height but flexed over the handlebars. The extension is good. The bolts are smaller in diameter compared to the original neck bolts. So far they are holding up, so the extension is 5 stars.
