🔴 Secure and Spacious Rod Storage: Forney 93097 Container, 14-3/8-Inch, Red Review

Don't know why a spacer is needed so I removed it to accommodate a full 10 lb of 6013 1/8" welding rods. With a spacer it only holds about 3 /4 of the rods.

This is a good rod holder. I like the baffles, waterproof seal and spacing, but it could have been made out of a thicker material as I'm afraid it will rip if I drop it from any height.

Works as described. Four separators give me enough space to store about 6-7 pounds of arc rods. I use TIG cuts up to 15 inches long. Perfect without having to pull and cut those long TIG rods.

With 4 compartments for different types of electrodes, but dividers can be removed if necessary. Just add a bag of silica gel as insurance to make sure everything stays completely dry (even though it seems to seal pretty well anyway).

Bought storage boxes for HFT rods and found after a week that they don't fit! So I decided to invest in a better one and this thing works beautifully. Just don't forget to tighten! I usually forget about this when welding, just grab a handful without removing my gloves and just put the lid on without closing it.

The label says 'moisture resistant' but at least the one I received was well formed and had a good seal that sealed fairly tightly. The quality of the strips and surfaces were also good in my opinion. Pretty strong too. Will hold up well when full and thrown. Didn't think to look under the cards but the label suggests so. Note: They are exactly the same as others at Revain, like the Shark whistle, but this one goes by the Forney name and was actually cheaper. Get the one that costs less.
