Description of 🔌 Fotag 2PCS 16 Pin OBDII Car Auto Adapter J1962 OBD 2 Plug Shell - Female Replacement Wire Sockets Connector

Just identify which type of J1962 housing (there are several and we carry most of them) is in your vehicle for the correct fit. Please check your existing connector before just blindly ordering a replacement part. Although we do know several vehicle MFG use this connector we can't guarantee compatibility across the entire model line. Work for GM, Buick, Cadillac, and some Chrysler, Jeep, and Ford vehicles. Includes 2 x OBD2 16 Pin Female Connector, 4x pin retention clips, and 32 x Terminals.

Good product, worked great for my needs.

Used this to make an OBDII connector on my motorcycle so I didn't have to use a special cable. The bike now has either an option, factory specific connector or standard OBDII. The kit included everything you need (except for the wire, of course). Connecting the cable was very easy.

Not the same as OEM

DO NOT buy this if you plan to reuse the pens already supplied with your vehicle. This connector is designed for its own type of pin and old pins will NOT work. This is only suitable if you want to strip the wires and use new connectors on them.

However, you will need a Molex crimping tool.

Worked great for my 2006 F-250, but you'll definitely need a Molex-style crimping tool - I usually "crimp" these little pins with needle nose pliers, but that doesn't work this time. I read the reviews and immediately realized that I needed to buy a product, so everything worked out. If you don't have (or don't want to buy) a crimper, do yourself a favor and get a pigtail connector so you can splice the wires instead of crimping the pins on the wires to assemble this connector. IWISS Crimping…
