Simply best in ties and stakes

The pup has not escaped yet. For reference, he weighs just over 12 pounds. Good lead length, great freedom of movement. Very light, does not weigh down.

Not durable on training and behavioral aids

Bought for our 3lb Yorkie. We only leave him out for a few hours at a time. It spun so hard it became tangled around his body. He ended up chewing it to unravel it. We had to cut some of his fur to free him. He hated it that much. picture attached

Cable thickness is ideal for small dogs up to 15 pounds but metal.

Cord gauge is optimal for small dogs up to 15 pounds, but metal clips are too heavy. I have a 10ft tie with small clasps, but I needed a longer length. I was disappointed to see that this tie has heavy clips. This is the 3rd tie I've tried.

Plastic sheath tears, metal cable rusts, broken cable and no dog

Just a few months later, the plastic sheath tore, the cable rusted and broke after the first rain. I found our terrier in a neighbor's backyard with a broken wire on his collar. I would not recommend this tie, it is too easy to break.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Almost OK

Great for small dogs

This was a must have for our pup. It's strong and durable. He was partially pulled through the fire. The outer part has melted, but the cable inside is still fine. The price was a fraction of what the big pet store had. Most of all, I wish there was a cool way to make it more wearable. It's quite difficult to handle carefully, so I usually just put it in my backpack. That's not a problem, just an idea for improvement.

Quality, thoughtful design

Pros: A thick vinyl cover should prevent creases. Thicker than our previous cable which has kinks in several places. The large loop that attaches the bronze latch allows me to hang it on the screen door latch, see photo. The large latch allows you to attach larger diameter pens when using them. does not gnaw through the cable like a rope. Cons: none yet. I've been using it for three weeks with no problems. The brush is heavier than our old one, but that doesn't bother our Pomeranian. So far…

Love Love Love and Perfection

This is the perfect solution for what I needed. Every time we went to the beach or campground, I would just tie my little seven pound Havamalt with a rope. I always ended up throwing the rope away because it was so dirty. Saw this at a local pet store and thought it would be a lot easier to clean. However, they wanted more than $15, so I figured it would be best to try Revain and see if I could find it cheaper, and yes I did! I ended up actually buying two at 15ft and 25ft. I plan to use the…

No more twists and turns!

Pleased they (I bought 2) work as intended although I bought them 5ft longer than the other one we had which broke. It's been about a month since I first got them and started using them. Although I had it too long for my purpose, I just wrapped it around our back porch post one or two more times and it worked. It works great, I'm actually a bit lighter than the old leashes I had so I was a little worried it might hold our dogs weight so I waited to post my review. I didn't have to worry…
