Good tool with great precision when it works. As others have said, the tool may not always work when used. It looks like the design of the battery cover is such that moving the tool can cause the batteries to become disconnected. This is already apparent after a short period of use when installing and removing the tool from the machine. What worked a few seconds ago when touching the other edge suddenly stopped working. Fowler Probe brought our old Fadal VMC as close as possible to our new HAAS VF-4ss with Renishaw Probe. New to the Fowler brand but after 2 weeks I am happy with the purchase. The price compared to the working time has definitely paid off. Easy installation with collet holder. It is very accurate to make and ignite the ground every time.
