Great product but read the full description!

I bought this stand to help with my cross stitch project after reading many descriptions. It arrived very quickly and I was very pleased with the ease of assembly. However, last time I couldn't read the description and realized I had ordered the wrong one. I sent this one back (just using Revain) and ordered Stitch Master. Both stands are great! But Master allows you to use bigger hoops etc. and I use all sizes. This one would be fantastic for large projects, especially quilting. It was my…

Perfect for procrastinating

The instructions could have been a bit clearer with the labeling but it wasn't that hard to figure out. The wood pieces turned out to be smoother than I originally expected, but there may be a few spots that I need to sand down in the future. This is my first time using scrollbars so it will be a bit of a learning curve for me with placement and such. The center of my project is looser than I would like, although this may be due to the fabric itself and not the stand. I also don't understand…

It's easier to assemble than I thought!

I was a bit skeptical, but I liked the look and the price was good. I painted and varnished it as it will be in our solarium and I wanted it to look nice. First, all the wood exceeded all my expectations. Smooth and beautiful. I'm not very mechanical so I wanted to wait for my husband to assemble it. However, I thought I'd give it a try and had no problems. They must have improved the directions, drill holes, etc. Unfortunately, my embroidery sheets are larger than for this frame. It will…

DOES NOT rotate 360 degrees

This frame needs to be rotated 360 degrees. This is important to make it easier to tie threads on the wrong side of the work. But it can't even rotate vertically, let alone 360 degrees, because the scroll bars are wider than the U-shaped prop. The side rails are also a bit long so they can't handle the flex of the U-shaped brace. I can get around this a bit by tilting the bottom of the stand, but that makes it too low and I'm crouching in my work. Another solution is to sacrifice some width and

Poor fabric handle

I was hoping to use this for regular embroidery rather than cross stitch. The assembly is ok, but there are no precise instructions for inserting the fabric. The pins above and below have a connector, the so-called split frame. You tuck the ends of the fabric into the slits and then roll them up, which doesn't work well with thinner fabrics as they tend to slip out. I had to find a way to hold the fabric in place so there would be enough tension... The way the parts that hold the dowels are…

Miracle Stitch is good for frames

It's not what I imagined Personally it's very hard for you if you have arthritis or RSD in my case. They constantly tighten and loosen the base and crease. Even if you tighten it, it will still loosen and fall, and you need to tighten it again. I don't see you could use this for the front stitch at all. This doesn't work for me and I tie a knot. I still have to figure out every time my thread comes off or do I have to move it, hide it and cut the thread as I've been told it rotates 360 degrees…

Good frame at a great price

I needed a frame to accommodate the 40cm square size needed for several seat upholstery projects so I can work faster with both hands and work longer and less tiring. I want to spend a lot of money because needlework is not one of my usual hobbies. This frame was a real treat and for the price and utility I give it FIVE stars. power to get the tips of the carriage bolts into the wood and yes a metal ring would be nice but would also increase the cost), easy to use and almost infinitely…
