🔳 Franklin Brass Lombard Pull, 4" (102mm), Matte Black - P29613K-FB-C Review

I wanted a solid piece of hardware for my shaker cabinets and they look great. I took 4" handles and used the installation template. TIP: Also buy a drill guide block to drill holes perfectly straight.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these pens at a great price. You are exactly what I was looking for. They are not too dark and have a brown cast. They don't show much bronze. I didn't want them to look like black iron so they were perfect. Just don't expect them to be too bronzed.

Note that the 4 inch draw only has 11/16 inch of room for your hand. These handles are only suitable for small furniture, e.g. B. a small chest of drawers for a child's room. See photos for a comparison between this 4" and 3" Richelieu train. While the price is attractive, this traction is poor value.

The distance between the highest point of the handle and the front of the drawer is only about 5/8 inch. Be sure to measure your fingers as I have thin fingers and my first knuckle touches the drawer when trying to grab the handle. . Over time, your fingers and nails will wear down the front of the drawer. Apart from poor design, they are of good quality. I like the wide base so the handle doesn't cut into the softer drawer fronts, but unfortunately I have to go back.

I am very pleased with these handles (chestnut 4"). They were better than anything I could find in local stores. In my case, specifically in my kitchen, I have drawers with square edges. I have a laundry room attached to my kitchen, but due to the layout, the lid of the top loading washing machine meets the handles of the top cabinet. I measured 4 times to be 100% sure I was right before ordering 50 pieces of aged iron. Delivery was fast, loved the style and color. This isn't a sizing attempt though! At first I thought it was me, so I tried different cabinets and a few moves. Then I realized how another reviewer said the 4" train is actually 4 1/16". Totally inappropriate! These pens are beautiful, strong, good size, nice transitional design. I like the silver gray tone. So different from the standard options that are everywhere. However, I removed the star because the kit does not include the longer screws needed for the drawers. These are pens, not pens. Why sell a quality product and then save on installation equipment. Not a big expense, but an unplanned trip to a large hardware store that entailed a long search for the right screws. Must be installed later…
