When my kid took it out of the box all the buttons broke when trying to undo the straps. He won't let me send it back because he doesn't want to wait for another one.

Good for my 9 and 6 year olds. They love the cool flame pattern on a helmet. The white helmet was very basic in comparison, so I bought Buffalo Sabers decals for the kids to put on.

Bought as a birthday present for a 10 year old grandson. Received the first one and most of the bars were broken. Refund and replacement issued. The second received was worse than the first. Also returned. They were not safe to use as received.

In stock, used goods / returned goods. I've never had good luck with stock trades in the past, but this time I couldn't ignore the price difference. I think I can return the product if not as advertised. I don't think this goalie mask has ever been used or sold. I rubbed it with Lysol and let my kids play with it. fun for a few hours.

My son loves it. Outstanding quality for the price. We bought cheaper ones at the store and they don't last long. It was a great purchase for the game. I would like to point out that my son is 9 years old, he plays travel hockey (so he plays quite aggressively), scatters this helmet and wears it both indoors and in street hockey. He's pretty rough with it and has had it for 3 months now. He held up well with no problems.

This is the second time I have received a mask with broken fasteners securing the mask to my head. This leads me to believe that the manufacturer, Franklin Sports, does not test their products before selling them to consumers. I have reservations about ordering a third mask as a Christmas present. On my first order of the mask 3 buttons were broken and on my second order only one button was broken. The mailboxes were in good condition and should not have damaged these masks. As with any goalie mask, the back panel attaches to the rest of the mask with fabric ties that snap to the main mask. This allows you to put it on and adjust the size. (Not unlike any other goalie mask.) That being said, the first mask I received had a clasp that either came loose from the rivet or wasn't riveted at all.
